22.05.2003 - The blower is designed as a single-stage centrifugal blower with overhung-mounted impeller in a single volute casing. The inlet nozzle is arranged concentric to the shaft with an axial gas inlet. To drive the blower via a gear unit and coupling, it is connected to the drive machine (electric motor, steam turbine etc.).
The base frame on which the complete unit is mounted also serves as an oil tank. The complete oil system with all the required ancillaries is mounted on it, provided with pipework and installed with the minimum installation effort. The lubricating system guarantees lubrication of the blower and gear unit bearings and of the gear teeth.

SISCO blowers have been developed for conditioning the felts of the paper, cardboard, tissue and cellulose machines. They are characterised by their capacity for flexible adaptation to the various production grades, production rates and felt permeability levels as well as by their reliability and energy-saving operation.
