TGE Marine Gas Engineering is a long established market leader specializing in the design and construction of cargo handling systems for ships and offshore units carrying liquefied cryogenic gases (LNG, LPG, and petrochemical gases like Ethylene).
To date, TGE has supplied gas handling and storage systems to more than 120 gas carriers across the world.
TGE is primarily contracted by shipyards to provide gas handling and storage systems, procurement of components and raw materials and the overall construction supervision of gas handling and storage systems. Additionally, TGE’s naval architects and marine engineers provide the design for entire gas carriers if required by shipyard or ship owner. The Group works mainly together with medium-sized shipyards.
TGE has recently delivered the first combined LPG and Ethylene carrier, the Coral Methane, and is currently working on a number of projects to develop gas supply concepts for dual-fuel propulsion based on four-stroke dual-fuel engines.
TGE Marine has its head office in Bonn, Germany, and a branch office in Shanghai, China, allowing the company to offer optimum service to its customers across the world.
